On more than two floors and thousands of square meters the ICE showed a vast variety of games and novelties for casinos. There were for example new kinds of Roulettetables, covered with glass and illuminated. Special, nearly undestroyable coverings, for Baccara-, Roulette- and Blackjacktable were to bee seen.

Das Poker Winter Challenge das vom 17. -19. Jan. stattfand gehört schon zu den festen Tradition-Spielen im Casino Seefeld. Viele Stammgäste reisten an, um sich in einem Kreis von lauter Bekannten zu messen. Auch Lothar Landauer besuchte seit langem wieder die Pokerszene. Bekannte Gesichter aus der Spielerszene - Wolfgang Pileki, Ivo Donev, Karl Frauendorfer, Bruno Micchiardi, Cem Talasalan, Tibor Tolnai und Antonio Turrisi - kämpften um den Titel und das ansehnliche Preisgeld.

The Poker Winter Challenge, which took place form January 17th to 19th is one of the constant and traditional poker games in the Casino Seefeld. Lots of regulars come to Seefeld to compete with well known names of the poker scene. Even Lothar Landauer joined. Familiar faces – among them Wolfgang Pileki, Ivo Donev, Karl Frauendorfer, Bruno Micchiardi, Cem Talasalan, Tibor Tolnai aund Antonio Turisi – fought for the title and a respectable sum.

Am Sonntag fand in Baden-Baden eine Premiere statt. Das 1. Turnier im neuen Jahr nach der "Ära Koch". Eine erfreuliche Änderung vorneweg: es wird dort kein "Entry Fee" mehr verlangt!!! Die veränderte Struktur dieser Turniere, 3 Pokerwochenende (Do-So) übers Jahr verteilt, ganz auf den Geschmack der Teilnehmer eingestellt, sind weitere beachtliche Unterschiede gegenüber dem Vorjahr.

Am 13. Januar 2002 findet im Card Casino Poker World Österreich, daß große Poker World ISA-Cup Jahresturnier statt. Gespielt wird No Limit Holdem nach dem Freeze Out Regeln. Einsatz - 763 Euro

Gunter Schmidt wurde wie in den Jahren zuvor, 1999, 2000 und 2001, Gesamtsieger im dritten ISA-CASINOS Cup der Poker Sonntagsturniere in Baden-Baden. Den 2. Platz belegte Bruno Giuliano vor dem Drittplazierten Karl Graf. Seit 1999 wird in der Spielbank Baden-Baden sowie in der Spielbank Wiesbaden der ISA-CASINOS Cup für die Pokergäste ausgespielt. Bei insgesamt 46 Sonntagsturnieren, die in der Spielbank Baden-Baden veranstaltet wurden und an denen 570 Spieler teilnahmen, ging es um ein Preisgeld von 309.500,- DM (158.244,83 EUR).
