Die Novomatic AG hat im Geschäftsjahr 2009 trotz Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise mit einem Umsatz in der Höhe von 1.223 Mio. EUR (minus drei Prozent) beinahe den Rekordumsatz des Geschäftsjahres 2008 (1.265 Mio. EUR) erreicht. Das EBITDA (Konzernergebnis vor Zinsen, Steuern und Abschreibungen) lag bei 399 Mio. EUR (2008: 492,7 Mio. EUR).

The G2E Asia show in Macao marks the annual major meeting point for the Asian gaming industry. G2E Asia will be held from June 9-10 at the Cotai Strip® CotaiExpo™, Venetian Macao. The Novomatic Group of Companies will participate at the Feria Andina de Juegos de Azar 2010 (FADJA) in Colombia’s capital city Bogotá and will present its dedicated product offerings for Latin-American markets. Gumpoldskirchen (OTS) - Bei dem verheerenden Erdbeben am Samstag wurden auch Teile des Casino Resorts Monticello Grand Casino & Entertainment World südlich der chilenischen Hauptstadt Santiago beschädigt. Aus Sicherheitsgründen wurde innerhalb von acht Minuten das Casino, in dem sich zum Zeitpunkt des Erdbebens mehr als 1.000 Peronen aufgehalten haben, evakuiert.

Statistically, this year’s edition of the International Gaming Expo (IGE) showed a factual decline in numbers of both exhibitors and visitors, yet the truth was that this was a critically successful event. Particularly so for Novomatic who, in setting another new record as IGE’s biggest single exhibitor, enjoyed an exhibition that set the seal on a mood of accelerating recovery for the entire international gaming industry.
