Full-format ID card detection based on ID card images

The insic ID card recognition service enables automatic recognition of ID documents, including electronically transmitted ID card copies, in accordance with the German GlüStV, JMStV and GWG regulations.

Upon registration, users can upload a photo of the front and back of their ID card via the insic widget, using either a mobile phone camera or file upload.

The service reliably checks all data fields and security features of an ID document to the limits of optical recognition. To pass the check, a predefined value for determining the necessary test accuracy must be exceeded. The system recognised ID documents from over 250 countries and more than 12,500 formats, and is utilised by international police authorities and global banks.

This services ideal for the high-quality verification of incoming ID documents for identification according to JMStV, GWG or to confirm instant play according to GlüStV. If the documents lack required content, the service will fail, but the number of retry attempts for re-examination can be adjusted.

Importantly, insic processes and stores your data locally, with no transfer to third parties. Due to specialised technical requirements, a minimum order of 5,000 checks per year is necessary.

Make your work easier with automatic and complete recognition of incoming ID documents to the highest standards!
