Roughly one third of German consumers has no objections against the current level of gambling advertising, another third is being put off by the current level of gambling-related advertising, while the remainder has no clear opinion.
These results suggest that future licensed operators will have to tread carefully under the new State Gambling Treaty, so as to not jeopardize public support for the full regulation of online gambling in Germany.
This examination of advertising acceptance among German consumers is part of an exploratory survey of consumer attitudes and preferences, the results of which will be presented later during the upcoming Gaming in Germany webinar “Brand preference and advertising acceptance in the German online market” on Wednesday, June 24 at 15:00 CET.
During this webinar, we will also reveal the current brand preferences (specified by product vertical) of a high-quality German consumer panel, as well as online gambling participation rates and customer motivations for selecting a specific operator.
If you are a country manager, marketing manager, or business manager at a domestic or international operator interested in the opportunities offered by the regulated German online gambling market, this webinar is not to be missed.
