As part of EGBA's European Safer Gambling Week, Gaming in Europe (Gaming in Holland, Gaming in Germany & Gaming in Spain) will host a webinar titled Gamification for good: Tools & approaches for keeping gambling safe.
This webinar will take place NEXT WEEK, Monday November 17 at 14:00 CET. Don't miss it!
About this webinar
The aim of this webinar is to highlight approaches centered around “gamification” to keep gambling safe. Importantly, without deterring or alienating players.
It is becoming increasingly clear that (non-gambling) games or other mental resets can help players to keep their impulsivity in check. Not only does this help reduce harm in problem players, but it also assists recreational players with keeping their gambling fun and regret-free.
To illustrate how gamification can contribute to a healthier and more sustainable gambling environment, this webinar will cover the following topics:
- The basic neurology of gambling-related impulsivity
- Gamification and prevention
- Gamification and intervention
- Resets as intervention
- Gamification and other resets as therapeutic tools

This webinar aims to provide operators and other interested parties with the insights and basic scientific information needed to assess whether gamification could be fruitfully employed to keep players safe and engaged with effective prevention and intervention tools.
