Starting on 7 October, Casino Baden will be transformed into the centre of the poker universe in Europe. Baden will put its poker face on for one week and play host to two poker events of the highest calibre where international poker stars will meet to ante up, raise and bluff their hearts out.

From 7-14 October poker fever will be raging in Casino Baden under the motto “The Big Double”. After last year’s big success, a poker tournament of the European Poker Tour (EPT), Europe’s leading poker series, is slated yet again to kick off the week. Prize money of up to EUR 2 million awaits. While some 500 EPT poker pros will be playing the modern and dynamic game of Texas Hold’em, the competitors in the European Poker Championships beginning on 11 October will battle it out over classic Seven-Card Stud poker.

The tradition enjoyed by the Seven-Card Stud game reflects the tradition the European Poker Championships has at Casino Baden. The tournament is being held for the 17th time and offers the players the chance to win a pot of approximately EUR 500,000.
