Novomatic and IGT announce an international ticket-in/ticket-out (TITO) license agreement.

Novomatic is pleased to announce that they have taken a license from IGT under the Burns cashless gaming patents issued throughout Europe. The purpose of this license is to facilitate Novomatic’s use and placements of TITO technologies across international territories. It also allows for licensing where connected to an IGT EZ Pay® system.

“We are excited to have entered into this agreement with the industry’s pre-eminent vendor. We have seen the benefit of TITO in markets around the world and look forward to working together towards full deployment of this technology. This agreement serves to emphasize our commitment to intellectual property rights enforcement issues. We applaud, and will continue to vigorously support, all anti-piracy efforts,” says Jens Halle, Managing Director of Novomatic’s wholly-owned subsidiary Austrian Gaming Industries GmbH.
