Organisers of ATEI, ICE and ICEi, collectively known as The London Show, chose United Nations Day (24th October) to announce a new target: of attracting visitors from their 180th territory at the forthcoming event (22nd-24th January). The current tally, which covers all visitors to the show since 1995, stands at 178.

Just months after being named the Association of Exhibition Organisers’ “Trade Show of the Year”, ATEI, ICE and ICEi, collectively known as the “London Show”, have scooped a second prestigious accolade. The exhibitions, collectively known as the “London Show”, were presented with the Silver Award in the 2007 Event Awards Best Business Exhibition category at an awards ceremony, which took place at London’s Natural History Museum in September. Clarion took the rostrum alongside winner Internet World 2007 and third-placed security show, IFSEC.

The annual London Shows, which comprise ICE, ICEi and ATEI, have been jointly named Trade Show of the Year in the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) Excellence Awards 2007. The London Shows topped the awards, beating some major international b2b events such as the 1,156-exhibitor IPEX print technology show and World Travel Market.

Earls Court – home of the ATEI, ICE and ICEi exhibitions (22-24 January 2008) – has gained Olympic status, as the venue is set to play a key role during the 2012 Olympics. An agreement between Earls Court & Olympia Venues and the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG) will see the volleyball competition being staged at Earls Court during the London Games.
