The organisers of this year’s Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) have announced that the show was yet another resounding success, attracting over 11,000 people over the three day event. The exhibition saw more than 210 exhibitors display their latest gaming and hospitality related products. In addition to the trade show, industry representative Associations in Australia and New Zealand united to present a range of plenary discussions and conference sessions to over 200 registered delegates on the first morning of the show.
Organizers of AmEx 2008 - The 29th Irish Gaming & Amusement Exhibition, announced that the event will be held at the Lynch Green Isle Hotel, Dublin on Tuesday 4 & Wednesday 5 March 2008. The free admission and seminar programmes that made recent exhibitions such a success will continue. Following the revitalisation of the Irish gaming and amusement sector, the 2008 event is set for further expansion.
The Mary Openshaw Memorial Award For Excellence was inaugurated at Ireland's AmEx 2004 in memory of the late Mary Openshaw, the renowned journalist, based in Brussels, Belgium, who served the international amusement industry for over 35 years.
