A 69-year-old Eastpointe man was arrested under warrant and could be charged Tuesday after police say he left seven suspicious objects in the MotorCity Casino garage Sunday. "They were fashioned to appear to be pipe bombs, but they were no threat," Detroit police spokesman James Tate said Monday, adding that the man did not work at the casino.

May 2, 2008: Norman - Riverwind Casino has been evacuated due to a bomb threat tonight, a McClain County emergency dispatcher confirmed. Dispatchers for McClain County and the Lighthorse Police Department said authorities were on the scene, but they refused to provide further details. The casino's phone line rang unanswered tonight. Television station KFOR-4 reported an announcement was made over the casino's public address system asking patrons to leave the casino, and patrons were then asked to leave the property.

Yangon - Four small bombs exploded at a casino in northeastern Myanmar, causing minor damage but no injuries, state-controlled media and a casino employee said Tuesday, the latest in a series of blasts in the military-ruled country. The attack happened early Monday at the Golden Triangle Paradise Resort Hotel in Tachilek, near the border with Thailand, the New Light of Myanmar newspaper reported.
