The International Gaming Awards announces eCOGRA as supporter

The International Gaming Awards (IGA) is delighted to welcome the E-commerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA) as one of their highly acclaimed supporters. The fifth, global prestigious awards event takes place on the 23rd January 2012 at the extravagant Sheraton Park Lane Hotel in London. Industry professionals from all over the world will unite under one roof to celebrate the success and prestige of high-flyers within the gaming world.

The glamorous Oscars of the gaming community will have the unique opportunity to network with like-minded business people from all landbased and online sectors. IGA offers a unique opportunity to meet, mix and mingle with architects of change. The Judging panel consist of leading international industry professionals, specialized journalists, analysts, investors and consultants. Using their industry knowledge and professionalism within gaming, they will judge entries in 18 categories and winners will be announced on the night of the ceremony.

eCOGRA is an independent London-based player protection and standards organisation that provides an international framework for best operational practice requirements, with particular emphasis on fair and responsible gambling. Established since 2003, it has become synonymous with the highest industry levels of fair and responsible gaming, professional conduct and superior operating standards.

Currently eCOGRA are working on an ongoing basis with over 25 leading software providers and almost 70 leading online gaming operators. 13 Software providers have achieved accreditation for their software in the form of the eCOGRA Certified Software seal. 145 online gaming sites are accredited with the eCOGRA Safe and Fair seal. Accreditation remains open to all software companies, operators and their affiliate programs.
