The Danish Gambling Commission's ROFUS player blocking system ‘Spillemyndigheden’ is a cross-game tool designed to protect players and combat gambling addiction. Players with a blocking entry in the ROFUS file are prohibited from participating in gambling activities and receiving related advertising.

ROFUS covers all online gambling option, applying to licensed Danish gambling providers, including land-based casinos. As of 1 October 2023, it also covers betting at physical outlets in Denmark.

Players can self-exclude by using their MitID to create a blocking notice. Blocks can be set for 24 hours, one month, two months, six months or indefinitely. Third-party blocks are not possible.

Users register in the ROFUS system with their personal data and cannot withdraw their registration. Temporary blocks are automatically lifted after the specified period wile permanent blocks can be removed after at least one year upon application to the Danish Gambling Commission.

During registration and every time they log in, gaming providers assess players risk of addiction via the ROFUS system.
