Viage: A new Entertainment Concept for Brussels

At a Press Conference in Brussels on 3 September 2009 hosted by the Mayor of Brussels Freddy Thielemans to present the newly-opened Anspach center, Casinos Austria International introduced the concept behind its exciting new “Viage” entertainment complex. Centrally located on Anspach Boulevard, the center already features extensive shopping and retail outlets, a hotel and exclusive apartments. Opening in early 2010, Viage – one of the key tenants – will complete the Anspach facilities and bring a great new entertainment experience not just to Brussels and Belgium, but also to the whole of Europe.

“We are launching a fantastic new entertainment concept and an exciting new brand,” said Viage General Manager Andrew Webb. “Viage will be a multi-faceted entertainment complex and a first for Belgium and the city of Brussels.”

The Viage logo clearly represents the vibrancy of the new concept, as Webb explained: “The colored balls stand for a sparkling experience – almost like the bubbles in a glass of Champagne – while the different colors represent the many different experiences on offer at Viage.”

Covering a total of some 14,000 square meters, Viage will feature a range of different entertainment opportunities for the whole family: from restaurants, bars and chill-out zones to extensive gaming facilities and a 1,000 person capacity event area. The new complex will also create hundreds of jobs for Brussels and be a major new attraction for the city.
