Connected Table adds to 20-strong league of debutants at ICEi ‘09

Connected Table, the Swedish developer of electronic poker tables designed to bridge the online/offline divide, will make its ICEi debut at next January’s show, taking the number of first-time exhibitors at the premier interactive gaming expo to 20.

The company’s products are based on an open platform onto which any type of application can be run, with a strong focus on gaming. Connected Table’s current focus is on poker tables, with two-seat café-style and six-seat poker tables being shipped to customers across Europe. They have a unique ability to be powered either by software running locally or via Internet-based servers.

Chief Executive Officer, Stefan Olsson explained how the Stockholm-based company is developing its portfolio, with some exciting new refinements being added in time for ICEi ’09: “Future development focus lies on extending our range of physical devices to meet various customer demands whilst continuously developing in-house software solutions that enable us to deliver any service that a customer might need on their device – including upcoming payment and identification services. Some of these products will be launched at ICEi. We believe that branded tables will become a very strong marketing tool for online operators.”

Connected Table makes its maiden appearance at ICEi 2009, which takes place on 27, 28 and 29 January at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre, on stand 5320.
