International Masters of Gaming Law and Clarion Gaming announce new Global Media Partnership

New agreement will extend the provision of global gaming law network’s expertise across Clarion Gaming’s digital and live channels

London – Clarion Gaming and the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL), the non-profit corporation which provides a forum for the exchange of knowledge and insight to gaming law, have announced a global media partnership under which IMGL members will provide expert insights and opinions through Clarion’s publishing platforms including iGB, iGB North America and the soon-to launch ICE365. In turn, Clarion will help distribute and promote IMGL publications such as the newly launched IMGL magazine.

The partnership will see contributions from IMGL’s 350+ leading international gaming lawyers form a regular pillar of iGB and ICE365’s content and further enhances the relationship between IMGL and Clarion Gaming, iGB’s parent organisation. The partnership is in line with IMGL’s mission to be the leading gaming law education network worldwide and will add an unparalleled level of legal expertise to Clarion Gaming and iGB’s formidable coverage of the business of gaming. The partnership builds on a memorandum of understanding signed between the two organisations in 2019 which positioned IMGL as Clarion Gaming’s Global Legal Partner advising on the critically important legal and regulatory content at all the company’s events including ICE London and iGB Live!

Welcoming the new media partnership, Stuart Hunter, MD of Clarion Gaming, said: “I am delighted to expand our partnership with IMGL to include the provision of insight and analysis for our publishing brands including iGB. The reach and expertise of IMGL’s global network will further support our growing legal and regulatory coverage of the gaming sector across multiple platforms and channels.”

Marc Ellinger, president of IMGL, said: “IMGL brings together members into a truly global network of expert gambling lawyers. Our partnership with iGB makes this expertise available to its readers for the first time. This exchange of knowledge will assist gambling industry stakeholders in enriching their sector expertise, particularly in relation to legal, regulatory and compliance for the benefit of their businesses for years to come. We are excited that, through this media partnership, IMGL members will join the growing roster of iGB and ICE365’s expert business contributors.”
