The Chairman Tower at Trump Taj Mahal will open in time for Labor Day weekend. The USD 225 million tower will welcome the first guests on Friday. Hong Kong (Reuters) - Private equity firm Carlyle Group has bought two residential towers in the Chinese casino enclave of Macau, a statement from the deal's broker said. The deal, announced by Jones Lang LaSalle, was worth about USD 250 million, the South China Morning Post reported on Tuesday. A Carlyle spokeswoman declined to comment on the price the firm paid Macau developer Sin Kin Wan Group for two of the five 35-storey towers in the "Lot KL" project.

Atlantic City, New Jersey (AP) - A fire that engulfed a 43-story tower under construction at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa on Sunday only caused "superficial damage" to the structure, authorities said. No injuries were reported in the blaze, which started at about 7:45 a.m. on the south side of the tower and was under control about 20 minutes later, Atlantic City Fire Captain Michael Mooney said.
