The Industry Group for Responsible Gambling (IGRG) has today announced the appointment of John Hagan as the new IGRG Chairman, which is effective from 1st January 2016.

The IGRG today announced its incorporation as a company, following a highly successful working partnership in the area of socially responsible gambling by the UK’s five leading gambling trade associations.

The IGRG has today announced a range of improvements that will be made to the Industry Code (‘the Industry Code’) for Socially Responsible Advertising. These improvements will form part of a revised version of the Code and will be implemented within six months. The Code was originally produced in 2007.
