Washington – Tien Duc Vu, 50, pleaded guilty today in San Diego to conspiring to participate in a racketeering enterprise, the "Tran Organization," in a scheme to cheat casinos across the country out of millions of dollars, Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division Matthew Friedrich, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of California Karen P. Hewitt and U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Washington Jeffrey C. Sullivan announced today.
Neteller co-founder John Lefebvre pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge related to the processing of millions of dollars in gambling transactions, according to Reuters. The guilty plea is similar to one filed by fellow Neteller co-founder Stephen Lawrence earlier this month. Both Lefebvre and Lawrence admitted to wrongdoing in their pleas.

Stephen Lawrence, 47, during a hearing before U.S. District Judge P. Kevin Castel in Manhattan, also agreed to cooperate with the government. Lawrence faces a maximum sentence of five years on the conspiracy charge for his role in the operation of the payment processor.
Washington (Reuters) -- Online gambling operator BETonSPORTS plc. pleaded guilty to U.S. racketeering charges and agreed to cooperate in a case against the company's founder and other co-defendants, federal prosecutors said on Thursday. BETonSPORTS admitted to a "pattern of racketeering acts," including mail and wire fraud, operating an illegal gambling business and money laundering, U.S. Attorney Catherine Hanaway said in a statement.
