Las Vegas - As the Gaming Standards Association is celebrating its 10th anniversary, it is also welcoming a wealth of new international members to its fold. Las Vegas (May 29, 2008) – Gaming protocol standards finally have an official home in the rapidly expanding gaming capital of the East: Macao. Last fall, the Gaming Standards Association signed a memo of understanding with the Macao Polytechnic Institute, and on June 2, GSA and MPI will officially open doors to the GSA Macao Office and the MELCO Gaming Research Lab.

The Gaming Standard Association (GSA) Annual Technical Meetings were held in Graz, Austria from the 28th to the 31st January, 2008. Proudly hosted by Atronic International, it was the first time that the event was held outside the United States. Taking part in the landmark meetings were up to 35 participants from Europe and the United States representing the G2S, SAS, S2S and Transport committees.

Las Vegas - The Gaming Standards Association has named Ethan Tower its new Protocol Director. Tower will join the staff immediately and oversee the continuing development of GSA's System-to-System (S2S) protocol as well as ensure alignment of schemas between S2S and G2S.

The Gaming Standards Association has announced that the 2008 International Casino Exhibition – which takes place at Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London between 22nd and 24th January – will kick off tenth birthday celebrations for the US-based international trade organisation.

Las Vegas - The Gaming Standards Association recently held its first two Certified G2S Engineer Program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, graduating 15 engineers. Now, GSA will present "An Introduction to the Certified G2S Engineer Program" during the upcoming Global Gaming Expo.
