Industry-backed Proyecto FES launches in Catalonia, promoting digital health and preventing behavioural addiction among adolescents.

The Catalan Government (Generalitat de Catalunya) has filed appeals to the Supreme Court (sp. Tribunal Supremo (TS)) against two judgments of the High Court of Catalonia (sp. TSJC), which nullified two decrees in the field of gaming adopted by the government headed by Pasqual Maragall (former President of Catalonia).

The Department of the Interior of Generalitat (regional government) granted the installation and operation of the fourth casino in Catalonia to Atzaria group, which gathers four Catalonian companies from the leisure business. This new gambling venue will be installed in Lloret del Mar, Barcelona. It is the first public tender performed in Catalonia (where there are already casinos in Barcelona, Peralada and Tarragona) to authorize the installation of a casino.
