London (1st December) – ICE Totally Gaming has underlined its reputation for providing visitors with a truly global perspective on gaming with news that Argentina has become the 52nd nation to be represented on the show floor. Figures for the exhibition show that, outside host nation the UK, Malta tops the international league table of represented countries with 32 exhibitors, followed by the USA (21), Austria (15), Germany (14) and Italy (13).

Within its global expansion strategy, Casinos Austria International, with a strong presence in South America –it operates all the casinos and gambling venues in the province of Salta, Argentina, and administrates a casino in Las Leñas, Mendoza- continues with its investment plans worldwide. It inaugurated a casino in the city of Belgrado (Serbia) and other three floating casinos in Windstar luxury cruises, with a proposal that includes table games and slots.

The Regional director for UNI Americas Gaming Global Union has invited local gaming industry advocate Cindy Gibbs-Nicholas to attend its Gaming Global Seminar in Argentina between September 4 to 6. A statement yesterday stated Gibbs-Nicholas will spearhead talks with leaders from the region’s gaming sector trade union organisations and will highlight problems employees in the TT gaming sector currently face.
