International Gaming Awards 2012 lays its charitable foundations

The International Gaming Awards 2012 (IGA) is proud to announce that The GREaT Foundation has been appointed as a charitable beneficiary of its upcoming prestigious and chic event, which is taking place in London’s Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, on the 23rd January.

The GREaT Foundation is the charitable face of the gambling industry in the UK and it raises funds through voluntary donations to support socially responsible gambling research, education and treatment.

Through this innovative affiliation, the International Gaming Awards will endeavour to make every effort in creating and maintaining a responsible gaming ethos and it has pledged its allegiance towards making land-based and online global industries a safer place for gamers, especially as online gaming grows in popularity and accessibility in this digital age.

Since 2002, The GREaT Foundation has been proudly recognised as Britain’s largest funding body dedicated to tackling problem gambling. Through the International Gaming Awards 2012, The GREaT Foundation hopes to reach out to land-based and online gaming organisations attending the dazzling event in a bid to raise additional funds and awareness of its work.
