PPA Welcomes Former Governor of New Mexico Gary Johnson to PPA Booth at WSOP on July 8

Who: The Poker Players Alliance (PPA) welcomes Gary Johnson, former two-term Governor of New Mexico and a Republican candidate for President to the PPA Booth at the 2011 World Series of Poker on Friday, July 8 from 1p.m. – 3 p.m. PDT.

As a strong proponent of protecting Americans‘ civil liberties, Governor Johnson will be on hand to talk with media and poker players about the need to protect Americans‘ right to play online poker and to preserve lawful commerce that contributes to the American economy. As the PPA welcomes the support of all candidates, it is also in the process of distributing a questionnaire to all Republican nominees to gauge their views on preserving Americans‘ freedoms and providing much needed revenue to the economy by passing legislation to license and regulate online poker in the U.S.
