Bally Wulff – a member of the Schmidt Gruppe

Berlin/Coesfeld/Düsseldorf.18.01.2011. The Schmidt Gruppe from Coesfeld in Germany’s Münsterland region has announced as a true starting signal for the 30th international trade fair for amusement and vending machines (IMA) from 18th to 21st January that Bally Wulff Entertainment GmbH from Berlin now belongs to its group of companies. At the end of 2007, the Zugerberg 7th Asset Management plc (Switzerland) took charge of the ‚Investment Bally Wulff‘ of the Orlando Management GmbH, Munich. The equity owners of the Zugerberg 7th Asset Management plc are the Schmidt Gruppe shareholders not including Ursula und Ulrich Schmidt. These shareholders will also be in future represented at Bally Wulff by the Chief Representative Ulrich Schmidt.

The shareholders of the Schmidt Gruppe view their commitment to-date as having been ratified and are convinced of a bright future for Bally Wulff. The creed is: to present customers and players with the best games the world has to offer on one single platform – the Gamestation. Alongside successful, proprietary games, collaborations with leading companies such as Novomatic, Atronic, Aristocrat, Amatic as well further partners fulfill these high aspirations.

“This news will give the sales team a real buzz at the show. Alongside forward-looking products with unique games concepts, we and in particular our customers are sure that esteemed and reputed entrepreneurs are heading up Bally Wulff”, comments Tim Wittenbecher, Managing Director (Sales), Bally Wulff.

The traditional Berlin enterprise has been made fit for future challenges in the past three years. The company was restructured and streamlined. Great and ongoing investments flowed into games development, according to Ulrich Schmidt, Chief Representative of the shareholders.

The company management at Bally Wulff has been in hands of Sascha Blodau, Wolfram Seiffert and Tim Wittenbecher since spring 2008. This threesome has committed itself to the dictum of re-orientation in order to once again become a major force in the national German market.

Visitors to this year’s IMA can convince themselves that this work has been worth while.
