With more than 7,500 sq.m. of exhibition and the participation of some of the best brands worldwide, Peru Gaming Show 2008 starts today, and authorities of the sector will participate on the ceremony to be held in Jockey Plaza Convention Center of Lima, and then, they will enjoy a welcome cocktail.
The doors will remain open until 8 PM in the first day, and until 7 PM on the second day, and for the current version, it has two main sponsors as IGT and Intervision Marketing, as well as “exhibitors of the best brands”, assured the organizers.
“Thousands of visitors will come to the event, and they will be able to see the new equipments that the exhibitors will showcase. A special award will be granted to the Best Stands, and the top prize will be a Tour to Cusco. The event will also have two big lounges, where visitors may have a snack or a drink, ambient music, a selection of exhibitors and buyers, it jeans, an ideal environment to do business”, added heads of PGS 2008.
With regards to conferences organized by National Society of Games of Chance in Peru –SONAJA- and Peruvian Games of Chance Association
APEJA, will be held Thursday and Friday from 10 to 13,30. They will treat subjects as „Responsible Gaming“, „Strategies to Control Money Laundering“, „Online Gambling“ and „Games of Chance: Regulation vs. Prohibition“.
Organizers pointed that capacity is limited, so people interested in participating will have to arrive with anticipation. Besides, important authorities of the Latin American gambling sector will be present, such as Francisco Javier Leiva, Superintendent of Casinos in Chile; Gonzalo Massot, Argentine lawyer and José Luis Benavides, Mexican lawyer, both representatives in Argentina of the Latin American Institute of Rights on Games of Chance and Bets-IIAA-, among others.
“The sixth edition of Peru Gaming Show 2008 is the event that grew the most in Latin America”, commented their organizers.
