Once again, Global Gaming Expo gathered the global gaming industry in Las Vegas

Las Vegas exhibition gathered the most important manufacturers and suppliers worldwide, which once again chose this event as an international launching platform for their latest novelties for the market.

Many visitors gathered in Las Vegas Convention Center for G2E, which opened yesterday evening, where the most important companies worldwide are exhibiting their new developments.

After a series of conferences which have started Monday (more than 140 conferences will be held in total), the event had its most important moment yesterday, with the ribbon cut made by organizers. The ceremony was headed by Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., president and CEO of AGA, and counted with the presence of TV-star James Gandolfini, main actor of the awarded TV program The Sopranos.

Hundreds of new products have been planned to be released in the current edition, by more than 750 exhibiting companies. Among them, 250 firms of 20 different countries made its debut in Las Vegas.

The convention center was full of visitors from all parts of the world, which confirmed the effectiveness and importance of this event in the international schedule. Among the novelties offered, this year G2E has larger pavilions dedicated to the “Security and Surveillance” area, as well as for “Food & Beverage” and “Technology”.

When talking about stands, the main slot manufacturers offered a unique show, with huge spaces dedicated to showcase their new games and developments. Firms such as IGT, Aristocrat, Bally, Atronic, WMS, Shuffle Master, Konami, Novomatic, Octavian, JCM and Casino Technology had extensive exhibiting areas and managed to catch the public attention.

Slots were no doubt the big stars of the first day of exhibition. Aristocrat bet this year to seduce visitors with a wide range of products and a new game based on TV series The Sopranos, while Bally, with its slogan “The future is today”, showcased a huge collection of new games and developments, both in machines and system technologies.

For the first time, Atronic showed in Las vegas its innovative cabinet Harmony Slant, as well as a wide range of new titles and themes for the central products in Atronic in E-motion.

IGT booth showed its philosophy “the correct vision, now and for the future”, in its games and products, as well as Indiana Jones videoslot – Pure Depth, multilevel progressive videoslot of Star Wars and the new development named eBay. It also exhibited its multiplayer games of M-P series, its new products for its Network System and novelties connected to its range of Server based games (sb Products).

Besides, WMS has titles from Star Trek, Wizard of Oz, John Wayne, Press your luck, Hot Hot Super Jackpot and G+ Series. Progressive Gaming introduced in G2E its improved version of Mystery Jackpot system, and Novomatic visitors could appriciate the wide offer of Cool Fire 2 games, as well as multigames based on high-technology cabinets.

Finally, Global Gaming Expo prepares to live two more days in which the main executives of the companies, with their launching of products and services, will compete to attract the attention of thousands of visitors which, once more, have put G2E on the top of international events dedicated to the gaming sector.
