London – Show organisers are enlisting the services of Eurocoin, one of the 16 pioneer organisations at the inaugural ICE and first time exhibitor Gamevy, to officially launch the 2016 edition of ICE Totally Gaming (2-4 February, ExCeL Centre, London). Tom Veitch, the founder of Eurocoin and Helen Walton, co-founder and Marketing Director of Gamevy, will cut the ribbon on ICE 2016 in front of the world’s media at 9.55am on Tuesday 2nd February (outside the ICE Press Lounge).

Looking ahead to the event, Tom Veitch said: „It’s a great privilege and honour to be asked to officially open an event in which I like to think we have played a small part in helping to develop into what it is today, the world’s biggest and most influential gaming event.

„We were one of just 16 pioneer exhibitors to bring high stake gaming equipment to what was then a small section within an established and much bigger show – ATEI. The Eurocoin senior management team has made it a policy to bring the very latest gaming technologies of the day to each edition since we first exhibited and I believe that many major milestones in the company’s history can be traced back to contacts made at, or business wins achieved at the London show. It is a very important part of our heritage but more significantly, a very important part of Eurocoin’s future.“

Gamevy has made the transition from being the first winner of the Pitch ICE competition for fledgling businesses to become a fully fledged exhibitor. In just 12 months the online games developer has seen the value of its business rise by 900%, an achievement that Helen Walton believes is due in no small part to the experience gained at ICE 2015.

She explained: „There’s no doubt ICE was a game-changer for us. Winning Pitch ICE was the catalyst that helped us find investment, sign our first two customers and make a major change in our strategy. This year we have even bigger and more ambitious plans. We’ve chosen to announce all of our new games at ICE – that’s not just one or two innovations – but a raft of revolutionary new gameshows, scratch and slots!

„A lot has happened to us in a short period of time and I am thrilled to have been invited back to help open what has to be gaming’s most exciting and dynamic marquee event.“
