Chinese Macao Gaming Show confirms new and expanded Slot Experience Center

The Macao Gaming Show (MGS) has confirmed the return of the ground-breaking Slot Experience Center (SEC) to this year’s show at the Venetian Macao, 17-19 November 2015. The popular initiative provides games developers the opportunity to showcase their products to players and senior slot experts during private trials at the exhibition, and to make viable adjustments that enable the products to be brought to market earlier.

The Slot Experience Center at MGS serves as a valuable test-bed for manufacturers, with the trials delivering a unique insight and in-depth feedback on their latest products. Following its debut at MGS 2013, the Slot Experience Center has become a staple part of the annual event and this year the show is hoping to extend the initiative to facilitate even more opportunities for feedback.

MGS, the fastest growing exhibition on the gaming events calendar, will bring players and senior level slot experts together with game developers, to evaluate the games across a number of criteria. These include game theme, graphics, sound and the overall playing experience with awards going to the EGM manufacturers who receive the highest number of votes. In 2014, the SEC saw Konami, Aruze Gaming, Aristocrat and Laxino winning awards in the Best Theme, Best Music, Best Playing Experience and Best Graphics respectively.

Praising the success of previous SECs at the Macao Gaming Show, Events Director and General Manager Marina Wong said: “The Slot Experience Center is not about hard sell: it’s about honest dialogue and games innovation. It’s about gaining trust-worthy advice and indicators to help move technology and product development forward.“

She added: “The Experience Center has been a resounding success over the years and we believe it’s an excellent opportunity for manufacturers to receive honest, insightful feedback from slot professionals, enthusiasts, and even causal players.”
