JOB POSITION: AMERICAN CHANCE CASINOS – Director of Casino Operations

American Chance Casinos, a.s. (ACC) has an exclusive opportunity for an experienced Casino Manager to work as Director of Casino Operations. This position will report directly to the Managing Director.

The Director of Casino Operations will have expertise in all facets of casino operations, including goal setting for all departments and financial analysis. The Director of Casino Operations will oversee the daily operations, develop and initiate controls and procedures, and evaluate the results of the property operations.

Specific duties will include:

  • Setting goals and objectives for Operations, Slots, Table Games, Finance, Casino Cage, Food and Beverage and tracking performance;

  • Ensuring adherence to existing company policies and procedures in the casino operations;

  • Creating and revising policies and procedures based on company objectives working in close cooperation with the company’s Internal Audit Department;

  • Being informed of evolving technologies and trends in the gaming industry;

  • Introducing innovations and new customer loyalty programs/promotions in order to boost revenues and strengthen ACC’s market position;

  • Providing comprehensive leadership and motivation to casino managers, department directors and first-line managers;

  • Establishing a clear path for advancement of line employees and managers;

  • Working closely with the Casino Managers and the Managing Director as well as the company’s Board of Directors in order to meet goals and objectives;

  • Advising executive management on budgetary issues related to casino operations, providing analysis and recommendations on how best to achieve financial goals;

  • Providing motivation and guidance to ensure guest service initiatives exceed company standards.

  • Reviewing and approving department budgets and expenditures; and

  • Supporting the Development Department as needed with review and assessment of potential acquisition targets and casino development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, have a passion for guest service, eye for creativity, innovation, strong analytical skills and attention to detail;

  • Able and willing to travel and work on weekends and during night hours;

  • Fluent in English and German;

  • Experience as a Casino Manager for minimum of 5 years .
