New companies bolster ICE showcase

Visitors to the 2005 International Casino Exhibition (Earls Court 2, January 25-27) will have the opportunity of seeing an even broader range of new products with more than 10 per cent of the exhibitor list comprising industry suppliers making their first ever appearance at the London show.

Of the show’s 149 exhibitors (confirmed at the beginning of October) no fewer than 17, drawn from 12 different countries, are set to make their ICE debut in January, altogether adding around 500 square metres (5,400sq.ft.) of new showcased products and services.

Topping the list of ICE first-timers with a 96sqm. (1,033sq.ft.) display of table games will be Austrian supplier Apex Gaming Technology. Other debutants presenting their portfolios of equipment for traditional and offshore casino operators include CTC Holdings (Latvia; electronic roulette), FutureLogic Europe (UK; coin & note handling), Global Gaming Industries (Australia; slot machines & systems), ID Technology Group (UK; CCTV, security & surveillance systems), Lucky Line (Serbia & Montenegro; electronic roulette), Power Tiger (Germany; machine components), Seeben (Belgium; AWPs, change machines), Synectics (UK; CCTV), VSR Lock (USA; locks/security devices).

Spearheading the growth in the ICEi section (online/interactive gaming) will be UK-based sports book specialist Betfair.com, taking a 59.5sqm. (640sq.ft.) stand. 24h Bet (Sweden; sports betting), Citadel Commerce (Canada; online payment solutions), Poker Network (Sweden; online poker) will also make an entrance at the 2005 show.

At least three specialist b2b print and online publications will be joining the ICE stable, including Casino Enterprise Management (USA), Gaming Business (Russia) and Yogonet.com (Argentina).
