Commenting on the Totally Gaming Awards, Phil Martin, editor of International Casino Review, said: “I think it’s important that those excelling in the gaming industry are honoured with a fitting awards ceremony backed by the European Casino Association, whose members are made up of the leading names from the operational side of European casinos. If a particular casino operator, equipment manufacturer, game or product has helped change the sector for the better, then the people at the ECA will certainly know about it as they live and breathe the industry every second of every day. Having been the editor of International Casino Review for the best part of a decade, I’m delighted to have been asked for my own opinions concerning sector leading innovations and I look forward to voting on each of the categories put forward.”

Kate Chambers, Portfolio Director responsible for ICE and the Totally Gaming Awards, said: „The response we’ve had to the Totally Gaming Awards has been nothing short of amazing and you can feel the anticipation building from all sectors of this fantastic and remarkable industry. Everyone has responded so positively to having the most significant international awards as the curtain raiser to the most important gaming exhibition on the calendar.

„Simply take a look at our judging panel which really is beyond compare. The take-up of tickets has been superb and having Novomatic as our headline sponsor and TCSJohn Huxley as sponsors of the Champagne Reception adds so much cachet to the inaugural Totally Gaming Awards which, I believe, will become the hallmark of gaming excellence.“

Awards will be given across a variety of categories, including best bingo, betting, lottery, mobile and online product of 2011; best manufacturer of the year and best marketing campaign of the year. There will also be two outstanding achievement awards which will be presented to personalities from within the gaming industry.
