Gaming Laboratories International set to celebrate 10th annual North American Roundtable

GLI University™ Invites Regulators from Across the Continent to “Find Your Seat, Find Your Future”

Las Vegas – For the past decade, Gaming Laboratories International, LLC has exclusively produced global roundtables, where regulators from the 455 jurisdictions that GLI serves are invited to come together for intense, in-depth training. Now GLI is celebrating its 10th North American Roundtable with a call to regulators to “Find Your Seat, Find Your Future.” More than 200 regulators will be in attendance.

The conference, presented by the company’s unique training program, GLI University™, is staged March 2-3 at Treasure Island Casino & Resort in Las Vegas and features an incredible lineup of speakers comprised of the industry’s leading experts. Headlining the event is Rep. Dina Titus (Nev.), who is scheduled to speak to regulators about the important role they play in the industry.

GLI President/CEO James R. Maida spoke of the milestone event: “We are thrilled with the support we receive from regulators across the entire continent for this Roundtable. We plan months in advance to ensure that we are delivering the most critical information and the most relevant topics, and I am very confident that attendees will receive a tremendous learning benefit from this year’s event.”

Topics at this year’s Roundtable are extremely timely and include “Interactive Gaming: The Evolution Continues,” “Adaptive/Social Networking: Gaming in Cyberspace,” “Policy Meets New Technology: What’s the Next Step?” “Responsible Gaming: New Technology, New Changes,” “Security Insights: Identifying Your Weakest Link,” “Internet/Intranet Gaming: The Future is Now” and “The Political Scene in 2011: What You Don’t Know Can Hurt You.”

In addition to the presentations at Treasure Island, the event will feature a close-up tour of GLI’s Las Vegas lab and in-depth training modules at the lab.

GLI’s annual Roundtable is a one-of-a-kind event in the gaming industry, where regulators gather to learn about the latest technological developments and their potential regulatory impact, and to openly discuss regulations with one another in a private setting. GLI offers the conference to regulators free of charge. Last year’s event drew more than 200 regulators from across North America.

Conference registration is available now at www.gaminglabs.com. Room reservations are available at www.treasureisland.com, and attendees should mention room block code GLI2011 to receive a preferred room rate.

The event is part of the company’s GLI University, an exclusive program that offers continuing education and training to regulators around the world. Each year, GLI produces roundtable events around the globe. GLI University will stage its European Regulators Roundtable in May, and expects to announce plans for its Latin American Roundtable later this year.
