World of gaming gets ready to do business at ICE

The world of gaming in all of its forms is getting ready to do business at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre (25th-27th January). The figures issued by show organisers Clarion Events over the weekend confirmed that a total of 409 gaming companies, from a record 55 sovereign states, will be promoting their products and services at ICE Totally Gaming making it the most important business event of the year for international gaming operators, many of whom have already arrived in London.

72 per cent of exhibitors at ICE are based outside Great Britain, giving the show its most international make-up to date. In business terms this means that whatever is taking place, anywhere in the world of gaming, will be found at ICE.

Outside Great Britain (114 exhibitors), the top ten represented jurisdictions are Malta (29), USA (25), Italy (23), Austria and Taiwan (both 17), Germany (14), Spain (13), Netherlands (12) followed by the Isle of Man and Sweden (both 10). 79 companies (19 per cent of the total) are making their debut appearance at ICE, drawn from a total of 29 sovereign states.

In addition to featuring the best names in gaming, the 2011 edition also features a seven-strong programme of ICE Conferences for leaders and innovators dealing with crucial business issues impacting the gaming community.

Looking beyond the figures, Kate Chambers, ICE show director said: „We’ve got the biggest names in gaming, the best innovators in gaming and the smartest names in gaming, all at Earls Court for three days of business and networking. No other gaming event in the world can touch ICE for either the geographical spread of exhibitors or the diversity of the gaming experience that’s on offer. Quite simply there’s no place in the world that gaming operators can, or indeed should, be this week.“
