CAI enters Italian Video Lottery Gaming Market

The Vincendo mini casino in Milan (Viale Certosa 223), which offers 1,000 square metres of floor space, was completed and ready to open in just two and a half months at an investment cost of over 1 million euro. Vincendo Milan will initially offer a range of popular games on 100 VLT slot machines. Guests, who will be looked after by a total of 15 trained casino staff, can enjoy drinks and a choice of snacks at the stylish bar and in the comfortable lounge area featuring contemporary design elements.

Azzurro Gaming plans to open more Vincendo branded video lottery gaming outlets offering a total of 1,800 video lottery terminals (VLTs) in the area between Rome and the northern Italian border over the next two years. Each outlet or mini casino will feature between 50 to 150 video lottery terminals.

Paul Herzfeld, CAI CEO, said: “We were very much looking forward to the opening of Vincendo in Milan and entering the VLT market in Italy. Italy is one of the most dynamic gaming markets in Europe and has significant growth potential. The licensing of a restricted overall number of video lottery terminals paves the way for an attractive new form of gaming in the Italian market.”
