New President of First Cagayan Leisure & Resort Corporation fully endorses iGaming Asia Congress

Reynaldo P. Bantung, the incoming President of First Cagayan Leisure & Resort Corporation (FCLRC), has given his full support to the annual iGaming Asia Congress (iGA), being held at the Grand Hyatt, City of Dreams in Macau from 1-3 March 2011.

In recognition of the fact that iGA is the region’s largest dedicated conference and expo for interactive gambling, sports betting and lotteries, FCLRC is confirmed to be the official endorsing organisation for this flagship event. Mr. Bantung stated that, in such a challenging and diverse region, the right partnerships matter and that they are proud to serve the i-gaming community as the gateway to Asia.

“We believe that the iGaming Asia Congress provides the perfect venue for local and foreign companies to come together and, not only learn how to best address gaming issues from each other, but form lasting relationships that serve to further the industry in the region, said Mr. Bantung. “We are recommending that our licensees attend the Congress, and strongly encourage you to join us in the biggest gaming market in the world – Macau. Together we can take part in the ongoing growth of the Asian gaming industry.”

iGA 2011 is supported by an Advisory Board of some of the most experienced gaming people in Asia, and is headed up by industry veteran, Sue Schneider, the originator of GIGSE. Other members of the Advisory Board include Alan Du, Andrew Scott, Bill Mummery, Dennis Valdes, Jeffrey Haas, Jerry Tse, John Ang, Katrina Nepomuceno, Kelvin Lai, Paulo Azevedo, Pierre Wuu and Tom Hall.

The three day programme features a pre-conference seminar on search and social media marketing, giving a comprehensive picture of the main social networks and platforms in Asia and how to connect with users, on Tuesday 1st March.

The main conference, which takes place on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd March, covers a wide range of regulatory and marketing issues, with in-depth insights into key Asian markets such as China, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, India and Australia.

Day two of the conference looks at the cross-over between social and casual gaming, and P2P games and tournaments with traditional online gambling. The conference finishes with a fascinating debate on the status of sports betting in Asia, including live and in-play betting, mobile betting and sports betting in casinos.
