The very first Women in Gaming (WIG) Networking event hosted by Clever Duck Media took place in Kensington, London, on 24 September 2010

More than 100 delegates attended WIG conference. WIG speakers and panelist discussed the most controversial and latest topics in the industry, including the future of US online gambling.

The winners of the Women in Gaming Awards 2010 were announced at a glittering ceremony on Friday evening 24 September, which took place at Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London.
In total 120 people attended the black tie event, which had a Glamorous theme.

Guests were treated to a VIP reception party in the elegant banqueting hall, as top Jazz FM Virtual Jazz band played the latest sounds. As guests took to their beautifully decorated tables in the main hall, they were treated to a delicious three-course meal.
The event was presented by Channel 4 Car show presenter Penny Mallory, who is an inspiring lady herself, who climbed Everest in July, who is the first women to compete in a World rally car championship and she is active and passionate charity supporter.
The event’s chosen charity this year was Breakthrough Breast Cancer research, with proceeds from the raffle going towards the charity’s vital research work.

The inaugural International Woman in Gaming Awards has been created to highlight the exceptional women working in Land based and iGaming industry, role models that show it is an industry that offers exciting career opportunities for women on both a National and Global basis.
Corporate support shown by Mr Jim Ryan CEO of PartyGaming who attended event to support Party Ladies and celebrate Team of the Year win by Sara Jolly (Brand PartyGaming).
Mr Andrew Love of Ritz attended awards ceremony to support his glamorous ladies at the event.
Michael Boettcher flew in specially, a couple of hours prior the ceremony to offer support to the Storm nominee, International Business development Director Tatiana Platonova, whom we wish safe delivery of the baby and looking forward seeing photos soon.
Paul Benton of Rank celebrated win with Rank ladies and Tracie Collins who won Leader of the year award. Paul did look very proud and happy for his leading GM Tracie.
Hermann Pamminger of Casinos Austria International arrived to London to support CAI ladies, who enjoyed evening very much and found conference being interesting, education and inspirational.
Nicky Senyard who won innovator of the year told us that she still would like to beat more men and will be fighting for more Awards in the near future.
Our Pride of the Year is Darlyne Sullivan of Atlantis Casino USA. Who dedicated over 33 years to the industry. Darlyne has succeeded in becoming one of the great leaders in our gaming industry, thriving in the birthplace of gambling through times when it was clearly sexist and difficult to succeed and advance as a woman.
