Orbis Casino Specifies MEI Cashflow SC83

Poland’s Major Casino Group places the winning bet on MEI

MEI is pleased to announce that Orbis Casino Group in Poland now specifies MEI Cashflow SC83 note validators for all future slots machine purchases. This decision was made by senior management after a value-added trial (VAT) at the company’s most important casino in Poland. The Cashflow SC has raised expectations for note validators across the globe, and the VAT process allows operators to trial Cashflow SC risk-free against its current note validator.

The Director of Slot Operations at Orbis Casino, Marcin Arasniewicz, agreed to participate in a VAT. During the VAT process, a side-by-side trial was performed between MEI Cashflow SC83 and the latest competitive note validators. Orbis Casino was happy to announce its decision to choose MEI: “The performance of the Cashflow SC83 note validator was excellent through the entire VAT process. We have absolutely no problems with this product, and the first time acceptance rate surpasses any comparable product. Thus, it was our pleasure to inform MEI at the 2009 Surexpo trade show of our decision to specify Cashflow SC83 on all future slot purchases,” said Mr. Arasniewicz.

Ms. Sandra Kabiljagić, Orbis Casino CEO, adds, “Investment in modern equipment and latest global technologies is now one of our priorities. Our purpose is not only to evoke genuine emotions at table games or slot machines. It is also to provide our guests with unforgettable moments of performances, banquets and other forms of entertainment taking place in our casinos. The banknote reader is the entry point for our players to the slot machine – the Cashflow SC improves the player experience, therefore increasing our profitability. We need to have the best technology to ensure our company is successful.”

Mark Greenawalt, MEI’s Vice President for Retail and Gaming EMEA, is pleased to add Poland to the list of countries specifying MEI Cashflow SC. “MEI is honoured to have our products selected as default by the Orbis Casino group. We would like to thank Marcin and his team for their time and commitment to this trial. The note validator performed well through the entire trial, and Orbis Casino is an excellent reference for this,” said Greenawalt.
