Biloxi, MS (January 7, 2009) – Bill Bostick, a 39-year-old from St. Clair, MI, decided to play poker regularly after being layed off from his job one year ago. His escapades has taken him to cashes on the Heartland Poker Tour in New York, the WSOP Circuit at Lake Tahoe, the Bayou Winter Poker Challenge in New Orleans, and then today winning his first major poker tournament. With this USD 12,366 victory, he now has over USD 100,000 in tournament winnings!
When heads-up play begins Bill has a 2 to 1 chip lead over Alan „Chainsaw“ Levinson. The antes and betting limits are so high it took only 15 hands to determine the winner when Bill’s innocent pair of threes took the final pot.

The 15 events here at the Beau Rivage are a great mix for the players coming down to the Gulf Coast. They include limit hold’em, Omaha (pot limit with and without rebuys) as well as, Omaha 8 or better, HORSE, all kinds of satellites, and a ladies event.

The cash games are great with a waiting list of up to 400 players. One time the waiting list of USD 1/USD 2 no-limit hold’em was 100 deep and the USD 2/USD 5 list had 95 players. There are plenty of action in pot limit Omaha with games of USD 1-USD 2-USD 5 to USD 25-USD 25-USD 50 and some as high as USD 300/USD 600. Other cash games include stud, half & half games (half pot limit Omaha and half hold’em), triple draw, and even BTO (a mixed game of badugi, triple draw, and pot limit Omaha).
