Casinos Austria International at SAGSE Buenos Aires 2008

Casinos Austria International will be presenting its extensive range of gaming products and services at the SAGSE Gaming and Amusement Buenos Aires 2008 from 15 to 17 October 2008. SAGSE Buenos Aires is the largest annual event of its kind in South America, attracting visitors and exhibitors from all across the region.

Casinos Austria International enjoys international renown as a leading gaming services provider and investor. Its vast experience and know-how put the company in a unique position and make it an attractive partner for investors and operators all over the world. The Vienna-based company will be using the event to showcase its extensive range of casino, lottery, online gaming, sports betting, slot machine and Video Lottery development and management services. It will also be promoting the top quality gaming, entertainment and dining on offer at its network of 79 casinos in 19 countries and on 13 cruise ships, a network that quite literally spans the globe – from Argentina to Australia and from Denmark to South Africa.

Casinos Austria International is by no means a newcomer to the South American gaming market and opened its first casino in Argentina, Casino Las Leñas in the Andean winter sports resort of Valle de Las Leñas in Mendoza province, in 1987. The company currently operates six casinos in the region: Casino Salta, Golden Dreams Casino, Boulevard Casino, Casino Oran and Casino Las Leñas in Argentina and the newly opened Gran Casino Los Angeles in Chile.

In December 2006, Casinos Austria International reinforced its long and successful cooperation with Entretenimientos y Juegos de Azar (ENJASA) in Salta, Argentina, acquiring a majority share in Leisure & Entertainment (L&E) company, which holds a 90 % share of ENJASA. ENJASA is the only company licensed to operated games of chance (casinos, slot parlors, lotteries) in the northern Argentinean province and, in addition to four live game casinos, also operates an extensive network of slot parlors and lottery games across the province.

In August 2008, Casinos Austria International was also awarded the concession for a second casino in Chile, Casino Gran Ovalle, which is expected to open late 2009/early 2010.
