Remote gaming exhibition ICEi continues to go from strength to strength, with the latest data from organisers Clarion Gaming confirming that 95 per cent of the 2008 exhibitors have booked their stands to return in 2009.

This, coupled with heightened demand from first-time exhibitors, means that the 2009 event will occupy a record 2,600 square metres of net floor space, a 40 per cent year-on-year increase.

Clarion Gaming’s Anthony Medica, who is responsible for ICEi stand sales, believes that the scale of the exhibition will surprise some visitors. He explained: “Anyone who missed this year’s show and will be returning in 2009 will walk into an event that is 75 per cent bigger. Many of the exhibitors have grown with the show and there will be a host of new names. In terms of scale, it is a totally different proposition to what it was two years ago.” He added: “Even six months out of the show opening, there is a sense of expectation which will gather momentum as other major events such as EiG come and go.”

Part of the new „International Gaming Expo“, ICEi 2009 will feature an estimated 80 exhibitors comprising major names including Microgaming, Boss Media, Playtech, ABetA Technology, Gextech, Ongame Network, Malta LGA and NetEnt.
