GSA fires up tenth birthday celebrations at ICE

The Gaming Standards Association has announced that the 2008 International Casino Exhibition – which takes place at Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London between 22nd and 24th January – will kick off tenth birthday celebrations for the US-based international trade organisation.

Peter DeRaedt, GSA President commented: “GSA has an international consortium of operators, manufacturers and regulators all working for a common goal: to create an even better, more creative world in which the gaming industry can remain competitive and thrive. It’s because of that unprecedented international co-operation that we have come so far in just 10 years. At ICE 2008, GSA will celebrate its first decade in existence by telling the gaming world: ‘We’re ready for the future of gaming. Are you?’.”

DeRaedt continued: “ICE is an extremely important trade show. The show floor will be covered with products that are based on GSA’s protocols, particularly the G2S protocol, and it is very important for OEMs and operators in Europe and around the world to understand the potential these protocols bring the industry. G2S is the future of gaming and enables visionary concepts like server-based gaming to get out of the drawing room and onto the casino floor.”
