Hospitality and gaming company Peermont will build a ZAR 220 million casino, hotel and conference facility to replace Tusk Umfolozi Casino in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal.

Construction is due to start in the second quarter of next year, following the approval of the environment impact assessment.

The group also won a tender to construct a hotel and ancillary facilities at its Rio Casino in Klerksdorp. – Sibongile Khumalo
