Stanley Ho to create a fleet of planes to lure VIP players to Macau

Casino tycoon, Stanley Ho, will invest more than USD 100 million in a fleet of planes to attract clients to Macau, a move qualified as a bet to keep his market share after the increment of the competence.

“The continuous development of high-level gambling business in Macao Games Society is generating a demand for transport, which includes private airplanes”, pointed Ho.

Jet Air, owned by Ho, announced its aim to expand its fleet from two to nine airplanes, so it placed an order of six medium-sized Hawker planes, valuated in USD 76 million to be received from next November.

The six planes, which will start operating in December, could be located strategically in cities such as Shanghai, Taipei, Macau and Kuala Lumpur; however, the company did not say anything about the ninth airplane.
