Project “Altos del Aguila” comprises the construction of a development with a golf course, a five-star casino hotel, a convention center, a shopping center, a cinema complex, a marina and the real state development of the zone.

Minister Víctor Rossi and Mayor of Canelones, Marcos Carambula, headed the act that was held in the ninth floor of MTOP, in which the investment group Hillsay S.A., which ellaborated Altos del Águila project, to be performed in Atlántida, a seaside resort located in the Department of Canelones, presented the feasifiliby studies, which include technical, economic, legal and environmental documentatio of the proposed development.

The estimated investment exceeds USD 50 million and this development is aimed to generate 2000 jobs during its construction and 450 permanent jobs in the hotel and other services.

Atlántida town (in the North East of Montevideo) has nice beaches, dense vegetation near the coast and one of its big attractions: the sunrise in the sea.
