The new European Poker Championship at Casino Baden

Many innovations in and around the big event for poker players

From 9 to 13 October 2007 one of the most renowned and exciting poker events in the world will be held again at Casino Baden.
The European Poker Championship is taking place this year for the 18th time and once again some of the world’s best poker players from more than 35 countries will be taking part.
The exciting Baden Open (Texas hold ’em no limit, buy-in €2,000) will be organised again on 9 and 10 October directly before the European Poker Championship.
The third European Poker Tour (EPT) is likely to visit Casino Baden in the run-up to the European Poker Championship, although the new tour (probable start in September 2007) has not yet been finalised.

There are a number of innovations at the traditional European Poker Championship:

1.The European Poker Championship (7-card stud limit) is to become a three‑day freeze-out tournament (11 to 13 October) with an attractive €2,500 buy-in and a very practical tournament structure.

2.This year you can dine à la carte. The obligatory “all you can eat and drink” package will no longer be offered. You pay only for what you consume.

3.A super satellite tournament will be held for the first time on the day before the European Poker Championship with a €3,000 buy-in (10 October).

Further information can be found at www.pokerem.com.

With some 200 assistants present, Casino Baden promises a poker event of the highest calibre. The catering by top-category restaurateurs DO&CO will ensure that the best poker players in the world enjoy a memorable tournament.
