Kansas City, Missouri – A man and woman are robbed while sitting in a car outside the Isle of Capri Casino and the man is shot.

Authorities said the two were waiting for their car to warm up before leaving the casino around 4 a.m. Three Hispanic men in a white or gray pickup truck pull up and demanded money from the man. They then fired eight shots hitting the man once.

The suspects drove away and police are investigating. They said the crime was a random act.

The man’s injuries were not life threatening, and the woman was not hurt.
