International Gaming Awards Announces 2011 Finalists!

Nearly 300 entries received from 30 Countries in the third year of competition.

International Gaming Awards secretariat received nearly 300 entries in 18 categories from Landbased and Online gaming operators and suppliers. Finalist list with some surprising results published today on official IGA website www.gaming-awards.com, after judges finished their hard work ploughing through the reams of supporting information gathered on the nominees.

In total, the Awards feature 18 categories which cover: Casino Operator of the Year (Europe, Americas, Australia & Asia), Socially Responsible operator of the Year, Online Casino Operator, Online Poker, Bingo, Sportsbook of the Year, Technology provider of the Year, iGaming Software supplier, Eco-Friendly company of the Year, Best Restaurant, VIP Room of the Year, Casino Interior Design, Slot manufacturer and Traditional Equpment Suplier of the Year.

Finalist in Online Casino Operator of the Year include: PartyGaming, Bet365, Betsson, 32Redplc, Bwin, Ladbrokes and Unibet.
Finalist in Socially Responsible category include Party Gaming, Rank, Holland Casino, Grand Casino Helsinki, Casinos Austria International, ALH Group Pty Ltd and Svenska Spel.

This year the Awards feature the new category the Best Customer Experience, some of the biggest names in the industry will be compiting for an Award, such as Celebrity Cruises, City of Dreams, Betfair and Full Tilt Poker. More information on www.gaming-awards.com

Finalist of these categories will find out the winners at the glittering gala event in London on 24 January 2011. The most influential figures in Landbased and Online Gaming will gather at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel in Knightsbridge, London for this year's awards in support of charity. The International Gaming Awards aim to reward examples of outstanding strategies, projects and performance, backed up by hard evidence of success.

Not to forget, IGA event is all about charity, this year's selected charities are CARE International and Children with Leukaemia. These charities rely on donations from individuals and business to do their work they do not receive government funding, and the IGA are proud to support them.
