Island pushes for e-gambling cash

Jersey is hoping for more internet gambling cash with the creation of a Shadow Gambling Commission.

Jersey's gaming industry is limited mainly to betting offices, but last year the States said it would move towards legalising internet gambling.

The Commission, which starts work on Friday, will pave the way for an internet gaming industry.

The three-member Commission is led by Graham White, who has been chief inspector for the UK equivalent.
